Having read and enjoyed the first book in this series I was anxious to get into the second; however, it contains many errors that should have been caught by proofreaders. Here are some examples: "when this precise thing was happened", "It wasn't as though she was slob or a slouch", Car vs Truck...Brent drives a truck but the author describes him getting into his car, then a few sentences later she refers to him in his truck, followed by referring to his car. There were a lot more errors but I was well into the book before I started documenting them. Although I applaud the author's story telling ability there are too many errors in this book for me to enjoy it. I'm concerned that book #3 might be as poorly published as #2 so I may have to call this series quits. This was series was slow to start, took a while to get me to sit for long. I bought book 2 and same, but knowing the characters helps peek my interest. It was pretty predictable, I figured out future chapters ahead of time.My issue is the cost of $4.99 for a downloaded to kindle book. I didn't think it was worth paying that amount to continue the series. Lots of other series out there for less.
